Kitty & your inside friends was inspired by the taxidermy section of the Queensland Museum. After browsing the collection, I began to think about what goes on behind the scenes and all the gross, gory parts that visitors don’t see and sometimes aren’t aware of. Through this, we came up with the idea of commenting on beauty standards through an educational point and click video game, funded by the (fake) company Eternal Bliss. We hope that audiences are more aware of the morbid role capitalism plays in the beauty industry by the end of the night.
